i live in a daydream, with my eyes open

Oh yeah, I forgot, there are some funny stories while I work as a coughwacomgirlcough...

My job as a Wacom Promoter is to draw/paint with Bamboo Pen&Touch/Intuos4/Cintiq 12". I got to draw anything and usually, I only made craps, coz... it sucks drawing in such a crowded place with people asking me questions and trying the graphic tablet which I use every now and then.

And sometimes, I don't remember how many exactly, but there are quite a few people who asked me:

"You downloaded this picture from the internet and right now you're just editing it, right?"


Duh!

I don't know if I'm being too sensitive or not, but I found that, such question is very rude, very impolite and degrading as well.

And if you thought that's the worst... YOU'RE WRONG!!!

There's this old uncle, with his haste steps walked towards me and ask:

Old Uncle (OU): "What is this? What is this thing? Is it a toy?"
Me: *massive sweatdrop but still smiling sweetly* "This is a graphic tablet, people use it to draw and paint in computer"
OU: "Well yeah! It's a toy! You use it to draw and paint, so it's a toy!"
Me: "..." *EXTRA massive sweatdrop but still managed to smile sweetly*
OU: "I mean, you can't make money by drawing and painting!"
Me: *laughing politely and still putting up my sweetest smile*
Me: *in cynical tone* "Well, actually, I'm a freelance illustrator and people actually PAY me to draw and paint, Sir. I make money by drawing and painting!"

Can that old uncle be more stupid?

The funny thing is, I feel a bit annoyed with that old uncle when we're talking. But right now, as I think about it again.

I WANT TO LAUGH!!!!

LOL!!!

I mean, seriously! He really amuses me right now.

I wonder, where on earth did he lives all this time? In a cave on a top of a high mountain which located in the middle of a desserted desert which no one ever come? Like... a complete isolation from human civilization?

For the last two weeks, almost everyday I got to be Wacom girl.
Yeah, that's what ~tararojing call me now... Wacom girl

Off course the only reason he call me that is because, right now I am Wacom's promoter/demonstrator.
As a Wacom girl, actually my job descriptions are:
- Using the product for people to see
- Answer when people ask me about the product
- Let them try the product

But yeah...
Me being me, I end up REALLY promoting the product as if I got extra commission if someone buy one. Being extra friendly, smiling all the time to the customers... basically being such a darling sales girl **puke**

Reminding the fact about how stingy Wacom is with my payment fee... GAH! They don't deserve it!

But well, we gotta do everything as best as we can eh?

And since I gotta work for almost everyday, from 10 AM to 9 PM (and they pay me SO LOW!), for the last two weeks, right now I feel so damned tired and miss drawing for the sake of drawing oh-so much!!!!

And now I'm going to draw while listenning Bobby Chiu's pre-recorded stream
